Entune issues after Apple iOS Upgrade

I updated my iPhone yesterday to iOS 15.4.1 and now the Toyota app won't connect to my truck.
I click on connect, it spins and just goes back to the same screen and nothing happens.
I've tried:

• Disconnecting and re-connecting Bluetooth
• Removing and re-adding my phone to the truck.. (everything else works fine)
• Removing and re-adding my vehicle to the Toyota App
• Re-installing the Toyota App
• Soft and hard resets on the head unit

I'm assuming this is a Toyota App issue and they will eventually push a fix for it, but was wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue.

My radio just pushed an update this morning...not sure if that is to fix your issue or not but its the first time I've updated the head unit in the truck.

 

updated entune this morning as well.

 

I tried that, it doesn't look like my Entune needed an update.. I'll double check

 

Yup, I'm having the same issue... the app suite wont load.. so iheart, alexa will not work. Did pretty much the same things you did. hopefully they will fix it.

 

I use Android but have been having issues with freezing the past week. Reset the unit to factory. Nothing. Brought the truck in for an update, didn't fix it. Was told to try a new oem Samsung cord and if that doesn't work they will replace the head unit. I think they botched an update. Let me know what y'all find.

Are you guys using the Toyota or Engine app? My head unit is telling me to use the Toyota app. I don't normally use the features, but just yesterday I attempted to use the gas finder thingy and it kept telling me to open the Toyota app on my phone, which I did, it showed my truck, and the head unit kept coming up blank, just telling me to open the app.

 

I am using the new Toyota app on an iPhone (the Entune app was discontinued). Seems this happens whenever an iOS update is pushed to the phone. Eventually Toyota will have to fix the app to be compatible with the new iOS. I'm glad I'm not the only one... I've tried everything possible to fix it and conclude the app is messed up.

 

They finally fixed it. Forced to log out and back in to the Toyota app. Tacoma connected to the app suite and all the apps downloaded and working on my head unit, including iHeart Radio which is the one I use.

Arg! I never though to check for update on the truck side. My unit recently started telling me some sort of issue connecting my iPhone to truck and to check owner's manual while plugged in through the USB. If I unplug and plug in a few times it'll correct the issue..... time to check the truck for update!!
