Does anyone know if other entune 3.0 radios will work in a Tacoma? I think some folks mentioned one from a Sienna fits. I’ve looked up the radio and from the photos from other cars like the rav4 and I think the Corolla (?) are the same but can’t confirm. Would I screw up anything going that route? Also, for those that got one from a Sienna, anything quirky about using it over an actual Entune 3.0 from a Tacoma?

I have an entune premium 2.0 btw.

    Thanks

Corolla fits I know because my android radio was designed for a corolla and it fits perfect.

Sienna also Should fit and I think is the only one with entune 3 in the older models.

You can also get a entune 3 from a newer tacoma and the adapter harness.

The Entune 3.0 and Entune 2.0 units have different connections. You'll need an adapter to connect it. The Tundra guys have done a bunch of these installs. Here's the adapter link:

how'd this go? I am looking at the Corolla and C-HR. Both look like they'd fit but I am not sure about wiring harnesses. I emailed AHH to see if they'd fit.

I have a CHR head unit in my 2014 Tacoma TRD. Everything works perfectly. Steering controls, Bluetooth, back up camera.

I used the radio brackets from the original radio. Fixed it to the CHR radio. And then bolted it in place. All the Tacoma cables connect straight into the CHR radio.

No features. Just the radio. And other features like backup camera, Bluetooth, etc. There’s no CD player or anything like that.
It’s a 2018 Toyota PT546-00170. If you put that in Google, you should be able to see the specs.

Got any pics of what it looks like? Did you have to modify the faceplate or use an aftermarket one.

Not sure how to add photos. I used the original faceplate. The CHR radio is very slightly smaller than the original radio, on two of the sides. But it’s hardly noticeable. But there’s a CHR radio available for sale every month and they go really cheap. The Tacoma radios have never come up for sale. My radio stopped working and I had to do without for around four or five months. That’s when I started trying out different radios. I targeted every radio that had the same plugs.

The radio he put in is not an Entune 3.0 radio, meaning its not capable of running Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
