Hey My Tacoma Brothers and Sisters,

My buddy Sean and I have another video for you. In this one, we show you some steps you can take to diagnose a misfire on your engine and then show you how to replace the fuel injectors on your 3.4 liter V6 5VZ-FE engine.

Here's the video and Enjoy the Show!

Dang that’s a lot of work. I’m hoping I don’t have to go this far.

    Thanks!

@HolyHandGrenade - at 3:20 the OP talks about a place that provides decent quality rebuilt/refurbished OEM injectors. Whatcha think?

Depending on price, it’s better than 150k inj, or paying to buy them from Toyota

Awesome!, hitting every detail! I'm hitting your timing belt vid next, I keep putting that off.
I'd never replaced a fuel injector before but this month, one weekend, I did it three times because I kept having a problem. The first time was kind of rough but by third time it was easy and didn't take long at all. I could dump everything, even the nuts and bolts, in a bucket and get it back together. Because of the details and "do it right" approach in this vid, yeah I can see that it might look overwhelming but I promise you it's a pretty easy job. There is another youtube vid I used to replace the injectors that is more bare-bones that might calm your nerves, the title is "Fuel Injector Replacement - Cylinder Misfire Fix - 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner" but this OP vid is much more thorough and practically leaves you without having questions to ask.
