    Hello all,

I wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations for machine shops in the San Antonio or Austin area that can do a longblock rebuild for a 5VZ-FE.

There are some out of state places that can do a rebuild, but they currently have long wait lists(4-5 months), so was hoping that maybe there is a good local shop that would be able to do a rebuild quicker.

    Thank you,
    Chris

Funny enough, my truck is currently at All Roads. Drew is going to do the Engine swap out for me and install a Supercharger, but the current wait time for a rebuild from yota1 (Drew's top pick) is 5 months.

Other places such as YotaShop and and Sunwest are also estimating similar wait times.

Lol, I drove back down to Houston last night to do maintenance and plugs on my truck, but i might have him do a coolant flush sometime next month.

Kotzur Racing Heads and Longs Machine have good reviews. Might want to give them a call.

I just remembered this thread. I've been posting Drew's progress on my truck over at this other thread. Ended up going with yota1 for the engine rebuild.

If you did stop by Drew's shop, my truck would have just been sitting in front at the time. He didn't get it into his garage until September.

Hey man how has the Yota1 engine been working out for you? I'm looking at sending an engine to them as well.
