Never heard of it and a search brings up nothing. Perhaps supply a link to whatever you are referring to.

But why would you wish to use a commercially available "known" kill option thieves could very easily know about.

    Develop your own.

Return to the basics: Crank, air, fuel and spark are required for an engine to run. Interrupt one or more of those in a secretive way.

Google it came out. First time heard about it, replace starter relay, with another special relay. Have to hide switch in cab someplace.:D

starter relay is the worst possible way to prevent starting. too easy to tell somethings in the way.

interrupting the fuel pump is far better. disabled, it will allow the truck to crank, but never fire, acting like there's something wrong with the truck.

Also with the fuel pump disabled, they will be cranking the engine which is making noise that will draw attention as opposed to no noise with the starter kill switch.

...and if there's nobody around to hear them trying to start they can burn up your starter or flat-line your battery

Much better than a totally missing vehicle.

so you come out to a dead battery, but a vehicle that still exists.

i'd rather be able to keep the vehicle with a dead battery than have to deal with the surprise panic of an empty spot where the vehicle used to be.

I'd like to go this route. Is there a specific model the community likes or uses? I think hearing the truck starting near my window would be helpful.

If all the provided fuel, spark, air, crank interrupts were all copied the thieves would know just where to look. Inventing your own is the best option. Mine requires multiple steps one must take to disable & reenable the truck and is deeply buried.
