does anybody use the dust boot covers from energy suspension? I just put in my lift and tore open one of my tire rod ends boot, and I'm hoping to just replace the boot instead of the whole tie rod.

    Anybody?

Here's a link to the energy suspension website.

    http://www.energysuspension.com/universal-products/tie-rod-end-dust-boots.html

One of the pages on their website as a fitment guide for year make and models of cars, and it says it will fit my 95 Tacoma.

    Figured I'd ask you experts.

I ordered a pair (outer tie rod end) with my first set of rack bushings, just for the heck of it some 16 years ago. They were somewhat of a "universal" sloppy fit and I never used (or needed) them. However they would have been far better than nothing.

Thank you. I saw a video from ES on YouTube explaining where to take measurements on the TRE to ensure the correct sizing. I'll check if I can find some measurements of the TRE stud and report back

I have a set of sloppy fit ES tie rod end boots installed. Not perfect, but 10 years later I am not complaining.

    OME and worth every penny.
I used them too....yes, better than nothing. You can look forward to replacing them with a new TRE someday.

Haha well sounds like everyone who has used them says the same. It'll have to do for now, I just got an alignment so I'll wait to replace the TRE until my next one.

Thanks everyone. I'll snap some pics and post them when I install them.
