It's been posted. It's like 1500 under invoice and you only get it every 24 months or something. That's for Toyota employees, though.

Dealership employees do not work for Toyota, so they get whatever the dealership offers.

OK, not to interject off topic sort of on your thread....but I worked for FORD aerospace a division of Ford Motor at the time back in the early 80's ----Houston Texas, JSC, MCC. OK so when the new 5.0l mustangs came out in 82,3 or so I bought one on what they called the "A" plan so a fully loaded 5.0L ran about 15K and I walked out the door 0 down for 12k, you do the math, not sure what Toyota does for its employees but I am sure its something close maybe not as good as it used to be....

Working at Dealer: $100 dollars over dealer invoice. Not sure how much I will save buying a Tacoma but usually Toyota it's not much. 1500 is probably in the ball park. Maybe a little more. My F150 it was like 9k off MSRP and I missed out on the D plan which would of saved even more

The employee plan is better than stated above and I am thankful Toyota is so generous. My brother in law works at an assembly plant. His parents, spouses parents and siblings, including their spouses siblings are eligible. My wife and I can each buy 1 car a year. (A couple years ago they changed that for awhile but it is back) We don't trade that often but my parents do. He and my sister can do the same, but every 2 years they get a steep discount. We used the employee purchase plan in February to buy our Tacoma. It usually runs about 10-11% off the sticker although that isn't how it is calculated. Our TRD Sport 4x4 went from $35k and change to $32k and change. The discount is more with higher optioned cars. My FJ is low optioned so we only saved $2900 off sticker. We can buy a new Toyota for less than a couple year old used. Probably explains why it looks like a Toyota dealership when we go to mom and dad's.

Should mention, we cannot get the discount on TRD Pro vehicles or on Trail Team vehicles (RIP).

Don't mean to revive a dead thread but thought it might be helpful. I've been taking advantage of TMM Employee pricing for years as one of my parents works at TMMK (Kentucky plant). The pricing has changed a few times over the years, it used to be "x" amount off invoice, and then a percentage under dealer cost, etc.

    It's currently:

(Dealer Invoice) - (Reserve) - (Wholesale Reserve) - ("A" Sheet Incentives) + (Dealer Installed Options) + (Applicable Document Fees, Tax, Title) = Employee Price

Getting the Reserve / Wholesale Reserve is probably the hardest part about trying to calculate the final price as most dealers don't even know what this is.

There's also a direct discount on option packages, but I forget whether that's 20% or 25%, or still active. I'm including the current purchase policy for reference. The Incentive "A" sheet changes monthly, so didn't feel the need to post that.

From past deals, I don't think the current program is as good as it once was in the past. When I went to purchase my 2013 Tundra Rock Warrior, the dealership was willing to meet the employee price to the penny to make the sale that day (since I would have had to wait for the official certificate). My parents as well have gotten better deals or similar on past vehicles too. So when you can save more by negotiating than the employee pricing, it shows how little it comes out to be. This is dependent on vehicle, dealer, and time of purchase.

In addition, I know past pricing did specifically exclude special vehicles (TRD Pro, Trail, etc), but I believe currently the only exception is the Incentive Price (Sheet "A") - those specifically exclude certain vehicles (TRD Pro for 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra at the time of this posting) but since the Tacoma has no additional incentive anyways, there's nothing to exclude. Otherwise the rest of the formula matches.

I'm looking into getting a Tacoma TRD Pro right now using this, so it should end up being about $3k under MSRP - so for this vehicle it's a huge savings since everyone is holding them at MSRP right now.

I bought a Mustang in 02 on the D Plan, it was pretty fair, about what you would get after a bunch of negotiations but without having to go through that.
