    Hello Everyone,
Quick question, does the forum have any experience with this replica wheel company Elite Custom Rims. I'm looking to do something larger than the 16"x7" wheels on my 2019 TRD pro but keeping with the OEM style. I was reading several Tacoma World threads about the FXPro 17"x8", the Factory Style Wheels 17"x8.5.

It appears Elite Custom Rims offers 18"x8" and 17"x8" in the 2019 Tacoma Pro factory style. Here is the URL:

Elite Custom Rims (appears OEM center caps can be used)

Elite Custom Rims | OE Style Audi Chevy GMC | Factory OE Style Wheels

Factory Style Wheels (no option for OEM center caps)

Factory Style Wheels (FSW) | High Quality OEM Replica Wheels

    Looking to go to 275 / 70 / 17 or 275 / 65 / 18

Just started the process of looking at options.

    Did you get them?
I am skeptical too. I bet they are steel painted and not aluminum right?

Those would be very difficult to cast out of steel and would be enormously heavy and expensive. They will be aluminum.

Did anyone ever buy these? Looking to maybe do 285s but hate the balloon look as the tires are bulging off the stock rim

Be sure the Elites are hub centric (106.1mm), I looked but didn't see the hub size listed. The FSW's are hub centric.

I get that these are in sizes the OEM wheels don't come in, but the fact that an unknown quality replica wheel is almost as expensive as the OEM wheel is strange to me.

OEM or aftermarket they both have to be DOT approved. No?

Yugo's were also DOT approved. DOT approval doesn't mean quality. DOT regulations for wheels only pertain to markings anyway. (https://www.performanceplustire.com/tech-info/are-your-wheels-safe/)
All jokes aside, I'm not saying don't buy replica wheels, my old WRX had two different sets of Rota's. It's the high cost that is weird to me. My last set of Rota's were 18x9 and I think I paid like $600 for the set.

Anyone ever buy these? Also, the price listed in the picture is for a set of four. I might take the plunge and try them on my 22 Tundra.

Any wheel company that refers to wheels as 'Rims' would never get my business. I am guessing it is some flat biller working out of his garage buying wheels from china on Alibaba.

Send a message to FN wheels and ask if they have blems for the fx pros. Essentially the same price as OEM/these if they have blems but they will be flow formed so lighter and stronger than either.

EDIT: Even if he doesn’t have blemished wheels, paying for them is still not a bad idea. The quality is good and the customer service is great.
