Hello, quick question. Behind and a little below the radio there is a blue connector (has that thin foam wrap on it) with a single connector coming out of it. Pretty sure it connected to the rear speaker harness but its on a seperate line, you can almost always see what im talking about when people remove the bottom console cover (dangles right above a control module) What does this control?

Got a pic? Did you try unplugging it to see what stops working?

The blue connector behind the radio is usually for rear speakers.

This wire? I've read it connects to the rheostat and then grounds. Leave alone.

Should be ok to leave alone. Probably just dimmed the factory head unit.

A service manual wiring diagram is the best resource. Be sure to get one specific to your year.
