Got about 50 miles of driving on it. To me it feels better more like a truck. My nephew said the truck rides better. I went with stage 2 r. I drive on sand bar and live down a gravel road that is poorly maintained. I also drive on a lot of unimproved roads where I live so far so good. But only 50 miles. I will most likely be adding headstrong off-road add a leaf if not I’ll just go with Eibach spacer. I only tow a small aluminum boat. 1 week update no change to measurements no settling. I have headstrong add a leaf and AGP pro 17 x 8 wheels and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 285 70 17 supposed to arrive November 30. After 1 week of driving I prefer the aftermarket ride over factory. No longer feels like a car. If I was living in city and very limited off-road driving. The factory shocks and set up is the way to go.

Did you have to use UCA's?

I did not have to use UCA’s. I did run the driver side coil up so it was even with passenger side. I only do mild off-roading. I think for those who do a bit more aggressive off-roading and put true 33 inch tires would need UCA’s and to run coils up higher. Dependent on Rim size and offset.

my driver and passenger side from ground is 38 inches.

I’m happy with them. Is there better out there yes. But comes with a steeper price. I also don’t think I would ever get the full use out of the big names. I’m not adding bumpers, skids, winch , bed rack ,or building an over-lander. Hunting and pulling my jon boat and side by side. Would a puck spacer and rear block work for what I do yes. That’s what’s in my 2019. I like the way my 2021 drives better. This suits my needs. Daily driver, hunting lease , hauling boat to river to fish and the marsh to hunt.

IMG_1363.png (before)⬆️IMG_1131.jpg I had zero experience and me and buddy installed eibach 2R stage 2 on both vehicles in one day! We have gone smashing through dunes already and feels wayyyy better! The stock offroad suspension would be shot after 3 hours in sand dunes and so hot you couldn’t touch them! Tested these 3 times so far(hard) and after three hours they got pretty warm but we’re holding up strong. No drop in performance. The (stock)off-road shocks would bottom out every big bump in dunes! Me and buddy have yet to bottom out and rebound is very strong keeps your tires on the ground. Night and day after running both sets fast and hard for hours. I feel like on stock OR shocks I could maybe go 25 mph through harsh dunes and felt like I was going to die. I can now push to 50mph+ and have more control! On road is much less body roll and I can hit speed bumps at speed with no crazy jarring hit super smooth ride! Firm but absorbs big hits smoothly. When wheeling me and my buddy would constantly bottom out the stock bilstein weenie stock suspension. I went out yesterday and did my best to bottom out the eibach and my tires left the ground. I still haven’t been able to bottom it out. Super impressed by this setup. Rough Sandune’s out here so I thought maybe 2.0s weren’t gonna be enough but definitely these work for what we do. I was so stuck between 6112/5160 and eibach 2R! With all the crazy bumps we have here we thought 6112 might just be too firm for us here. Plus the adjustability of the 2.0s kinda pushed me to eibach. Happy with choice. Ordered from shock surplus and they were here in two days! I had to scramble to hide giant red box from wife! Eibach sends a spanner wrench and dummy proof step by step instructions packet.

2.5 inch front lift —— 2 inch rear lift(1.5 block)
Added supreme steel 1.5 block rear somehow gave me 2 inches
there is so much adjustment still I guess 1-4 inches if you add weight or want to go up more

Any questions feel free to ask

    3000 mile update!
    IMG_1779.jpg IMG_1629.jpg
took my sway bar off and haven’t looked back! Amazing! A little more body roll daily driving but going to throw it in the trash! Took a 400 mile trip and felt great eats every bump in the road now! It really is insane off-road. These eibach2r eat the dunes up.
Was amazing with sway but imo way worth it. Added jba UCA and drives much better off-road and on. Front superbumps and rear Timbren active off-road suspension. I’m so glad I went with the eibach2r. I was worried it
Wasn’t going to be enough because we go pretty hard for hours on rough dunes and the eibach stage2R eats everything in its way!

Nice rigs...I just ordered the 2r for my 15 trd pro as well as the jba uppers, deaver leaf springs, timbren bump stops and googling reviews about it ran into this thread...glad to see people out there running the same set ups and loving it...I was also debating with sticking with bilstein 5100s but am confident in the eibach's now especially after seeing this thread...thanks again for sharing!

hey guys I really enjoyed this thread.
I have a 2017 taco 4x4 off road quicksand currently at 123000K in miles
so time to change up my suspension and tires too
i have been looking into upgrading my suspension but there is alot of really expensive shocks
but i only go camping about twice a year n the truck is my primary so i need something not so expensive
but i do want a comfy right too and just by reading this is pushing me more toward this set up here

if you guys have any other recommendation please let me know

No they ride smooth as butter! And I’ve been trying to break them to get some 2.5s but they are great at taking hitsIMG_2871.jpg honestly I think these are the best 2.0 setup out right now. No clunking at all.

Had to create an account for this reply but wow thank you so much for those measurements. I bought mine used and it came with the bilsteins 5100 so I never really knew the stock height measurements.
So I'm also going to be joining the eibach crew here in a few days if everything goes right but Im re checking the eibach description and the rear shocks only accommodate for a 1in lift?!?
I see that two of you guys added an add a leaf and the other added a 1.5in block that gave you a 2in lift.
I was planning on adding the ome hd leaf springs that at the very least will add a 2in lift to the rear. To help me out with my leer camper and decked drawers with tools in the back.
Have you guys have any problems, (binding, noises) with 1.5+ lift in the rear?
