Update for anyone who cares: The shop here hooked me up with a Bilstein lift kit, which is actually what I wanted originally, anyway. So it will be Bilsteins all round, plus a 2" block in the rear. The finished lift will hopefully be around a 1.5" lift in the rear and 2" in the front.

Why wouldn’t you go for Eibach stage 2?? More adjustability and better ride quality

    Congrats on the lift.

Just a note, if you are installing a 2" block in the rear, you are getting a 2" lift... not 1½".

I'm not an expert, so please correct me if I was given bad info. He told me the truck already has a 1" block in the rear and he's replacing it with a 2" block, and the new rear shocks give around .5" on their own. Is that accurate, or do I need to call them back and make sure they're holding the right stuff for me? lol

2" in the rear is totally fine by me, either way, though.

Nothing? I just wanted the Bilstein system originally. The dealership shop told me it was backordered for 9 months so I started looking at other options like the Eibach. Then I called the top rated local place here and they had the Bilsteins so I'm doing that.

I guess because you went with what the shop had in stock? Did you just do the 6112 or front coil option ?

I'm doing Bilsteins all around (he said they were 5100s) plus a larger block in the rear. The Bilsteins are what I originally wanted anyway.

If the truck is bone stock, then is no there is no block in the rear. If the truck has been modified before your purchase, then, it's anyone's guess what might already be in place.

Also the shocks do not lift, that is the springs and/or blocks, spacers. The shocks control the suspension.

Maybe he just misspoke then (or I misunderstood). So with the 5100s all around, plus the 2" block in the rear, will that allow me to get a relatively even 2" lift, front and back?

The suspension is definitely stock. I bought the truck new. haha

You should really confirm with the shop what you are getting. Many options and variables. AAL, prob need ECGS etc. I’d avoid a block lift personally.

I know what I'm getting. I'm getting 5100s for the front and rear with a 2" block in the rear. I told him I wanted a relatively even 2" lift (as in keeping the factory rake).

Factory springs, no added leafs, and no, I don't think a spacer for the driver side front is part of this (is that something people do?). lol
