I don't fart money, so I need to get my lift in sections one month at a time. So the question is..
What are the specs for the eibach springs that would go in a 2009 DCSB 4x4 OR?
There are two things I need to know. The travel in inches, and the rate in pounds. My guess is 10" for a 3" ID with a 150lb rate? Or am I way off?
Does the 3" ID means the lift I would get?
As you can see, I'm shooting in the dark here.:(

I will be putting them with bilsteins 5100's.
    Thank you in advance!

Sorry, but that did not answer my question. I went thru all the links and videos, and none mentioned how long and how many pounds or how much lift each option is suppose to give. I already searched thru most of the post here, so I'm not being lazy if that is what you guys think. :(
Just an honest question for someone who has bought his lift setup separately and not thru Toytec.

Eibach no longer sells their branded spring.

There are the toytec springs which are made to eibach original specs just silver instead of red.

Lift is 1.6" on a extended cab or double cab, a lil more on a regular cab. If you mount them on a 5100 you can adjust and add more height if wanted by ring grooves and also can add spacers. You can get 2.5" - 2.75" without many issues beyond that you are causing more trouble than it is worth.

I believe the eibachs are 15" uncompressed, 884's are 15 1/4" and the 885's are roughly 15.65" tall. eibach is higher spring rate, right around 620. 884 and 885's come in at 590.

The eibach spring rate will ride about as rough as the stock OR suspension but better in turns when paired with 5100's. OR suspension is a progressive coil versus linear of the eibach. Sport and SR5 suspension is linear from factory with a 540-560lb coil.

Shooting in the dark and pissing in the wind at the same time with the specs you had. :D:D

If you want lift and a smoother ride look into OME (old man emu) from wheelers offroad.

If you want eibach you have to buy springs from toytec and best price on 5100s is from downsouth motorsports.

Running 5100 at stock setting with toytec springs myself. Leveled me out with TSB rear springs.

Thank you for your informative response. I was lookin at www.eshocks.com and they have both eibachs ( red ) and hypercoils ( blue ) here:
    http://www.eshocks.com/hyp_ind.asp?SubCheck=0+IDQ3.&Free_Length=0Q1&SubChar=Q

That is why I was asking about the specs. To see if one of these could be used on the tacoma as a replacement of the toytec.

I was in the same boat and wanted an inexpensive lift.
I bought my components separately ( eibachs & 5100s ) and am quite happy. I also wanted to fully assemble mine prior to installing, so it would just be a simple swap. In post #202 of the link below I have photos of the parts for reference, if that will help you.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/197516-2nd-gen-eibach-toytec-gallery-thread.html

If I wanted more lift, I would have gone the OME route, but I only wanted to level the truck and this set-up did that.

Those springs are not meant for factory style shocks like the 5100 they are for full race shocks which have a different diameter shock body.

Toytec is the only seller of eibach spec springs that fit on factory style shocks for the tacoma.

Thanks you very much for the clarification Sir. As you can see, not all TW members are toyota experts or suspension experts to be more accurate.
