Read this thread and the suspension threads that forum. Yes if you want to lift the back a little you will need blocks, AAL add a leaf, or a new leaf pack. The rears do not provide lift like the front coilovers do. AT 2" it is my understanding that UCAs are not necessary, at 2.5 you are on the cusp and at 3" you should strongly consider them. I ordered some then cancelled after talking to a mechanic with a lifted 3rd gen and wheelers where I ordered my stuff from. That said, increasing caster beyond spec to 3-3.5 with UCAs might give a little better ride overall, I plan to see how "jerky" my steering is at factory specs before deciding.

I plan to keep my factory parts at least for awhile. If I got rid of the truck I'd out it back to stock for value reasons (unmolested truck).

I installed this kit 2 weeks ago, thought the front would settle enough to level with rear. Not the case still over an inch higher. Just ordered the rear 1" eibach block to even it out. Was going to adjust the fronts down to level but that proved to be more of a pain than just toss a block in the rear. Stock UCAs are fine, alignment shop didnt have an issue.

How even were you with factory settings out of the box? I have read they are set to 2" factory which is what I plan to run. Would be nice if they came pre-adjusted for Taco lean with another 1/4" or so of lift on the drivers side. Easy enough to adjust though I guess.

@Tacoma091919 From driver to passenger there was a 5/8" difference, passenger higher. Measuring on the threads of the shockbody i lowered the PassFront 3/16" (about 2 rotations) and seems to take care of the lean. When i did that i was still convinced i was not lifting the rear and would adjust both down another inch. If i did the rear lift same time i would have raised the driver most likely to compensate for the lean. For adjusting make sure you got lots of lube and thick gloves, i mashed a few knuckles with that POS adjuster wrench they provide.

So how are you liking the setup? Have you raised the rear yet? I have the boxes of shocks, coilovers, SPC UCAs, new bolts, clamshell bushing, Ubolts, and bushings in my living room by the Christmas tree. Just waiting on my Deaver 402s. Not sure if I’m going to wait on the UCAs and bushing to see if there are needed or do it all at once. Would like to hear more recent opinions / experiences with these.

All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.
Proper was is to jack the truck up to release tension from the coilover as much as possible. After that. Adjust away! I agree the wrench is horrible for a 1000$ kit.. but it gets the job done, and adjusting these coilovers are a breeze when the truck is jacked up

Still very happy with the setup. Work been crazy so still stock rear shocks and no block. Got the shocks and block sitting in the garage waiting for this weekend. The front is still noticeably higher, so i will be adding the block and most likely have to adjust the front up to match but we shall see.

Yes. I jacked up front and set on stands wheels off and adjusted away. Still wasnt able to get a nice smooth turning, figured would have been easier going down so i cant wait to try adjusting up once the blocks in.

Do the bushing while you're in there, was not a pain just pay attention carefully, i still needed to "customize" the puller tool with a flap disc to get it in past the bearing. Not sure if freezing the bushing helped but i did. I def wouldn't want to take all that out again just to do the bushing. Also when pulling the CV just use a strikeable prybar from the passenger side to whack it out towards driver, way easier than the wire/slide hammer rigs i seen on Youtube. i feel like you could wait on the UCAs but depending on your setup might be necessary sooner. Id also suggest that lifetime alignment from firestone so as you change pieces out you can just go back for a recheck/readjust.

Here's a current picture after 2 weeks with Eibach Coilovers up front. I feel ridiculous driving around, im sure everyone loves getting blinded by my incorrectly angled headlights. This weekend the shocks and rear 1" block going in.

I don’t have the tool yet, guess I should get one. My leaf packs haven't shipped yet either, so I have time. I ended up buying SPC UCAs and new bolts to cut the old ones out. I guess I should do the bushing but some run for 100k with no vibes and no need to change. Then again while I’m in there…Guess I should pickup a seal just in case. Truck looks great BTW, no different than a loaded bed in the truck, probably not that blinding. What size tires? I’m going to run factory for a bit unless it looks really bad. Have all kinds of stuff coming right now. Merry Christmas Tacoma lol.

For those that have installed... does this look good? Followed the instructions but the "slight bulge" description seems fairly interpretative.

I haven't had time to take a good photo or take it off road but so far on the road it rides very well and looks great.

If the sides of the bushings were straight before it looks like it's got at least a few turns of bulge in it. Probably good to send'er. Inspect if it's still looking snug after some miles.

Are these the 1.0 or 2.0's?

Really interested in hearing your impressions of the ride quality of these on and off road, they are currently at the top of my short list.

Rears went on last night. We're watching some friend's kids this weekend but I took Monday and Tuesday off so I can do the ECGS bushing install and install the front coilovers.

Definitely shouldn't take the two days but I always try to leave some buffer time.

What do you guys think about the Eibach Stage 2 vs. TRD PRO takeoffs? I never really wanted to do over a 1" lift, and I got impatient looking for TRD PRO takeoffs. Now, I have a BNIB Eibach Stage 2 kit and still debating on buying a used set of TRD Fox shocks.

Just installed last night - quick question for you fellas. I didn't get a sway bar relocation mount even though the instructions said it should've been included, went ahead and did everything without it and it looks fine, maybe some rubbing will occur offroad but i'm not sure, do I just send it? Also, how are you guys actually measuring for taco lean, I understand how to actually adjust the coilover but is the best way to make sure you're even on both sides just to measure from the ground to the fender flare with a tape measure and adjust until your even? Thanks.
