I am relatively new to the off road scene. Besides bombing around gravel roads and our farm fields as a kid, I haven't adventured to far into the bush. Looking to get more into it as I build my 3rd Gen tacoma up.

    So, that being said....

-Anyone doing any off roading around here?
-Post your taco's, I wanna see other builds.
-If you see this truck, give a wave or a nod...I will wave back. I've tossed out a few waves to fellow tacoma owners but I haven't got any back yet.

My buddies are taking me to this "off-roading" place, not quite sure where it is. I heard most people go by the riverside and some range roads but that's about it.

I've done the trunk road, but not much else. Going to be up in lesser for the summer so I might try to find things to do up there.

Was pretty good from nordegg up to about elk river road, then it got pretty rough. Pretty suprised the stock truck survived that part at 70+ kph. Really beautiful, great camping areas. Just watch for the truckers, they have deadlines to meet, so its best you dont get in their way. Some areas to pull over and drive around a bit. Found some decent mud and sand by the river while i was fishing. [IMG]

You absolutley should, if youre feeling even more adventurous you could try lost knife, which is further south than nordegg, by waiparous. I havent made it out there but if i get some time off and can build up my truck a bit, its my first stop.

Did some light offroading in Moab, UT and Fruita, CO. Was a blast. Can't wait to do some more.
