Let’s see how you get into your vehicle and home? I’ve always been a pocket hoarder... 3 actual keys, 4 bottle openers (despite not drinking anything from a bottle) and 6 doodads

That’s what I thought at first! It’s arguably even more pedantic though... They are referencing the drilled and stamped nickel

That code has been consistently proven to only apply to counterfeiting. Unless you’re aware of a single case where someone was convicted without fraudulent intent?

Theres plenty of ways to get around the laws for items of that type. They come in all shapes and sizes these days marketed as something else. Its a wonderful world haha.

Glad I live in an American state where the real ones can be concealed by law.

One truck key, a loonie with a keyring hole drilled into it (that's a $1 coin for everyone south of me) for popping into grocery store shopping cards, and a mailbox key. That's it.

I have four properties that I need to routinely get into but all have keypads.

I have a decidedly not-EDC set of keys that makes me look like a janitor for all the various doors, equipment, padlocks, mailboxes, other vehicles, etc, for those properties that I'll use if needed but I try to avoid it.

Let's be real though. The way the Federal Reserve prints out worthless paper the keyring is legitimately worth more than the currency it's looped through.

I would not recommend posting photos of your car/house keys on a public forum where people also post loads of identifying information about themselves. It is very easy to take one of these high-quality photos of keys and use them to create a duplicate.

If someone wants to make a key for a Grom they found of a Tacoma forum, find out where I live, find where I even store my bike. and then steal it... Props to ya. :bikewheelie:

But for the rest of ya posting actual car KEYS (not the fob) :spy:

Considering how common those penny smashing machines are at tourist spots, I don't think you'd have much to worry about.

Maybe blurring out keys will catch on like it did for license plates?
