I have the 5ft bed. I go paddleboarding but hate the way a rack looks on my truck. I have a Thule Xsportser now, but I cannot lower the bars down due to the composite bed. Is there a simple rack I can get that is easy to mount an unmount?

Yakima Outpost HD makes one that is easily removable. I dont know if its tall enough for your board though.

I ended up putting the OEM rack on my cab for this reason — we have kayaks and paddle boards. If you don’t mind the look (I don’t), the rack is only a few hundred bucks and doesn’t drag down fuel economy when the bars are stowed. And you wanted easy — this is a 1-min process to pull the bars out or click them back into the recesses.
