Pinion deal requires the rack to be rebuilt or swapped with a reman if you don’t know how to rebuild the rack yourself.

Front *brakes* are a relatively simple driveway afternoon fix if your mechanically inclined. Even if you’re doing rotors and caliper along with the pads, you can find you tube videos to guide you along.

Do you mean the pinion seal on the rear diff or the steering rack and pinion?
+1 on RPM garage, getting my timing belt done there in a couple weeks. Had to schedule it two weeks out because they're so busy lol. For bigger repair type jobs they might have you wait a few days. A rear pinion seal shouldn't be too bad though

Ya they are always super busy. Worth the wait. I just dropped my truck there yesterday.

swapping camburg UCA to total chaos
total chaos weld on spindle gussets
Total chaos weld on alignment cam tabs
1/2” top spacer to replace my 1/4”
Changing my BP-51 preload from 20mm to 24mm

If you go up there you can give my truck a hug for me. I try to drop it off when I go out of town for work to give them plenty of time.

plus it’s easier on my truck separation anxiety. This way I’m not sitting at home waiting for it to be done.

+1 for RPM Garage. They are the only shop I used to bring my Jeep to after I got tired of fixing it myself. Honest crew that’s generally came in under what I was quoted for. Dropping my truck off to get a bunch of work done on Thursday.

Does anyone know if there's anyone rebuilding shocks right now?

@GHOST SHIP, I know you said you knew a guy awhile back, right?

Noticed a squeaky or squealing noise on start ups during colder mornings, lasts a while until I get to work about 15 miles and goes away slowly. Gets a tad bit louder when pressing on accelerator, what could it be? Which belt or tensioner? Any mechanics around 818 to have it checked out?

It’s more likely the idler pulley. Not a huge pain in the ass to swap out but also not something you necessarily need to fix right away. Mines been squeaking for about a year now. There’s a how to thread, I’ll see if I can find it.

It’s been a few months man, I don’t want it messing anything else up, if it’s ok then I’ll keep driving but would like to get it fixed, annoys me

Figured I'd post this here first. I need to unload my set of stock wheels and tires, only 2k miles on them. I have no where to store them in our apartment so they're just sitting in the back of my truck. The tires are dismounted from the wheels and no TPMS included. Very good condition and tires practically new.

$100 takes all 4 of them picked up. Need them gone ASAP.
