Hello, I am a new member on the forum. Thank you for being here.
I just put a brand new A.R.E. topper on my first gen Tacoma, the topper came with an electric door lock which should work with pickup door locks. The installer did not have a wire diagram for my older Tacoma so sent me home with out the lock working.
Does anyone know how to wire this thing so it works?
    Thanks, Jimmy

Post pix of the mechanism and wiring harness. Name of lock manufacturer would be helpful also.

    Hello Black DOG Lila,
The only name on the elock is A.R.E., the name of the cap. The green and brown wires go to the door lock on the cap. The cap installers connected those wires to blue with black, and blue with white (or yellow, faded) under the drivers side kick panel. The black and red wires in the harness are hooked to nothing. 20211201_130718.jpg 20211201_130621.jpg Thanks for any ideas.
