DWVO headlight assembly for 2000-04 good or trash?

    3 inch bilstein 5100 lift, old man emu leaf springs, 16x8 method 305 in bronze wrapped in bfg k02 285/75/16 tires. Trail gear high clearance bumpers front and rear. new energy suspension body mounts. Many more coming!

    Like most products coming from China quality is hit or miss some lots great quality the next lot pure trash.

    Good Luck !! Someone Might in fact have purchased some.

    Thanks for the heads up. I will keep looking for a review or just try and find something with better quality or reviews

    I got the OEM "replacement" from DWVO and, altho they fit beautifully, just like OEM, the alignment screws were trash- one didn't work at all and the other broke. Also, the back reflector mirror (if that is what it is called) is horrible, scatters the beam all over the place and definitely does not focus on the road, this was with stock style H4s. With LED lights in the assembly, it was MUCH worse.
    I am looking for a better replacement, since I no longer have the OEM assemblies. Tossed them when one cracked and they were both so faded and yellow as to be dangerous.

    I may be cheap, but I refuse to pay the super expensive prices Toy wants for OEM replacements. And how come the passenger side is twice the price as the drivers side????

    Utility Shell, Ultra 062 wheels, bilstein 5100, OME880 coils, wheelers progressive AAL, Whiteline LCA bushings, poly sway bar and steering rack bushings, led dash cluster, shifter bushings, 4runner mirrors.
    I got TYC headlight assemblies from rockauto a few years ago and they’ve been holding up very well. I compared them to the toyota ones and they look to be of similar quality to my amateur eyes.

    that said, rockauto can be a gamble…
