Anybody ever use this stuff? How did it turn out and any problems with peeling or flaking?

Works great, painted my 09 sport wheels with the "graphite" color they offer. They looked amazing and no chips after 3 years. The key is prep and proper painting. I washed, sanded, washed, primed (used a heat gun to help cure too), sanded, painted, cured with heat gun and then let them sit in the house for 1 day to lettue paint harden properly. When I traded in my 09 the dealer asked where I got the special edition wheels. I told him they were not special edition, just painted. He then asked what shop did the great work...made me feel good about my work. I took my time and did it over a 4 day vacation.

Here are some pics of my 09 painted wheels

Cool! Seems like duplicolor has a great product. Just bought some 16" TRD wheels and I'm thinking of painting them before mounting them up. Vacation next week so I'll have time to do this if I decide to.

So no clear coat? What were the issues there? Thanks!

I'm a firm believer in clear so I got some and set to spray after the enitial color and it was like the base was fighting off the clear.... Major orange peel and stuff. I have not had luck with any of duplicolor's clears for that matter. I don't know what's going on with their formula. I used to use plasticoat's engine clear on everything and it was flawless! Super tough long lasting. Sorry for the derail but OP asked.

It mostly cleared up, but still a bit foggy. Maybe it was too humid? It was my spare, so I was not too concerned, I will not use that clear on my regular wheels.

I painted my wheels with it. The paint worked well. It goes on pretty thick, so it hid some of the blemishes on my 20 year old wheels.

Did my stealies a while back.. Need to sand them down and redo them.
I sandblasted them, washed them, let them dry, drove for a few days bare, then put down only Dupli-Color Graphite (no primer)... Do not do this.. Rust is starting to come through the paint.. It's by no means bad, some light sanding and I'll prime and paint!

    After paint

    Yes.
We used it on the 4Runner's wheels. It worked very well. Didn't bother with clear coat. It has held up very well and is a nice color!

Wow that graphite color looks fantastic! Looks like a quality powdercoat.

I didn't realize the graphite was so popular on here. I did it because I didn't like the silver and don't like the look of blacked out wheels on my truck.
