Anyone have them? Im a little wary of buying something named "ballroom jeans".

Seems like there are no stores close to me and everything would be mail order. Do the sizes run true? shrink after washing? How do they hold up?

    Anyone??

My boss wears them. They look decent. That's all I have to say about that.

sub'd. I've wondered about them but don't want to be the guinea pig. It'll take some doing to get me to switch from my Carhartts. But if they're same quality at a better price I'd consider it.

I have a Carhartt hoody that I love. I also have a jacket, but it just seems stiff and doesnt feel like it holds alot of heat by itself. Put something like a light hoody under it, and its fine.

I know it sounds dumb but I wouldn't buy them because of their stupid fucking commercials.

That's just me though. Consider me in the Carharrt group.

I don't have the jeans, but I have two belts that are awesome - They hold the extra weight I tend to carry really well.
I've got some socks and boxers on the way from them too.
    Jeans are next...Probably Christmas time-ish.

Went to the link...prices no better than Carhartt. Yep, I'll be staying in the Carhartt group as well.

Back in my active duty days, had a controller that worked for me ask if I owned anything other than Carhartts because whenever she saw me out of uniform, I was in Carhartts. I answered, "yes, and when Kristi (my wife) makes me wear them, I do. ;)

    Lol....

You would think I would like them since they have "fire hose" pants:p

I've just had real good luck with Carharrt. I've had a coat from them for about 12 Years and it is still one of my favorite coats. I like it almost as much as my North Face Expedition coat.

I am changing careers, my new job will have me outside 90% of the time. I have a bunch of AE jeans, but they're old (5-6 years) and most of them are covered in oil and grease. I really need to update to a more work related clothing option. I respect Carhartt (I love my hoody) but it seems like EVERY redneck and hillbilly wanna-be in my area is decked out in Carhartt stuff.

For Jeans I wear Patagonia but I get them half off on prodeal.
Work pants Mountain Khaki, prodeal again, and Carhartt are our uniform work pants for the USFWS.

I have tried Duluth on, didn't seem to be that different than nice Levi's.

I love it! It is broken in and fits me perfectly. 12 or so years later and still is in great shape.

I'm on my third pair. Love 'em.

They're tougher than your average Levi's, but that's not saying much. The denim is thicker than most jeans, and the "ballroom" is true to claim: no pinching when crouching.

In the end, they're great weekend or shop jeans and they hold up pretty well. The denim breaks in steadily. The sizes are true.

I wouldn't wear them to a nightclub or a bar serving $40 glasses of beer, but since I don't go to either of those, they suit me well.

Incredibly tough material. They will shrink a size in the dryer. ScudRunner is correct though, they are work pants. You aint picking up the chicks wearing these.
