DRT makes some quality parts that are well thought out... but it's hard to compete with the price of BAMF. Especially considering that they regularly go on sale. Even if there were some minor performance improvement with the DRT set, I'm not sure it makes up a $400 value.

I have the BAMF ones. $850 with a HC crossbar of that design seems pretty fair.

Pricing is tbd. Didn’t want to list a much cheaper price than what actual ends up being.

You guys sure do make a beautiful product. My current hangers accomplish the same goal... but you guys got me thinking bad thoughts.

Thoughts like... I wonder if I could order them raw and PC them Total Chaos gray...

Sweet, nobody asked! And yes there's an increase of cost for an increase of quality, as these "rips offs" you call them have some of the finest Mig welds out there.
Also, not sure of the exact things that are included with the Drt kit, but once you add fabbed shackles and a crossbar to the Archive, its $1k+.

Appreciate your support Kevin. But we do not want to give in to the drama. (People love it) Archive makes some great products(I’ve recommended them) I can understand where they are coming from. But shackle hangers are nothing new in the off-road world. I don’t know the whole story of who made them first(edit: for Tacomas) (bamf or archive) and to be completely honest it doesn’t matter. As companies we are here to offer products that you guys (consumers) want to see. The amount of requests we had to produce our own is what made us begin to develop our own. C4 was the first to build a bumper for the new tundra(I think) Does that mean no one else is allowed to produce them? I don’t believe so. Archive has its loyal customers as do we and both attest to the effort we put into our products. Competition is good for the market and forces us as company’s to constantly improve. We will say ours are the nicest, rago will say theirs is, archive will as well. It’s our job to show you what makes ours the best and ultimately give you more options to choose from. If you choose another brand over our hangers that means we need to do something better. As for the cost of our hangers. The cost of all of our products has nothing to do with what other companies charge. We charge what we need to for it to make sense for us and if that dollar amount ends up being more than our competitors so be it. If it ends up being less. That’s great.

Again I truly appreciate your support Kevin and respect the support you have Hugh. But I truly believe there is enough room for both of us to exist in the same space. No need for bad blood. Have a good day dudes.

I'm not oppose to some clear powder coat. Can DRT temper color them a nice blue/purple first?

Parts are currently at powder coat. I am still unsure if I’ll release this first batch or release once my 2nd batch has arrived. There is a lot that goes into production for these so eliminating the likely hood of going on back order is a huge priority.
