Noticed it a few days ago, and it's getting worse each time I unlock it... the key feels like it's working its way through sludge, and I just know that one day in the very near future it aint gonna work at all. Anybody had this happen? How did you fix? 44K miles so the bumper to bumper is expired. 2015 AC.

Go to a bicycle shop and get some Tri-flow. It comes in aerosol cans with a little plastic straw. Perfect for getting in the lock cyl

Thanks all for the input. Maybe a dumb question, but no worries with the lube screwing up whatever electronics are involved with the lock?

Nope. The servo is a bit aways from the key mechanism and the door gets some water in it anyway.......... (it's why there are drains at the bottom)

    yep..
Mine was getting stiff so I sprayed some Fluid Film in. (They advertise it safe for locks and doesn't freeze up). Super smooth now. Figured things are probably corroding in there anyways.
