Has anyone ever tried making that hard plastic piece on the door more comfortable? After a few hours of sitting with my knee resting on it, it starts to hurt. I figure someone out there has thought about this and made a little sticky piece I can put there that has some extra padding?

    Thanks,

Lol. Yep, I fell your pain. I carry two small hand towels for long trips. I fold them up and place them between both the center console and/or the door panel and my legs. I’ve done the same for most of the vehicles i’ve owned. Being tall sucks sometimes......

Right? That's not a bad idea, I have a 8 hour drive next week and I'm already dreading it. lol It'd be nice to have a piece of foam adhered to the problem spot.

    A few minor things...
I bought a sheet of 3/8" adhesive backed foam and cut it to fit the part of the door you're having an issue with. It stuck on great and was cheap! I did it for the transmission tunnel too. Leg pain be gone!

Well, if they came with the model the drive wouldn’t be bad at all.

If the drive is long enough, the seat will make your ass/leg go numb anyway.

My wife suffers from arthritis in her right knee and it bothers her to take long trips in the Taco so we found the only product that helps relieve that (along with my right hip). I was skeptical at first but now I'm a true believer. I strained my right shoulder and this stuff got me back to normal in 2 days.

I’ve seen somebody install a rubber computer mouse wrist pad there. Not sure how they secured it though.
