I'm looking for anyone else that has discovered this noise and the fix for it. I have been to two dealers and neither of them can fix it all the while both acknowledge they hear it and that it's annoying. It is very loud and about to drive me crazy.Mine is a 2018. It only happens on the driver side and you can only notice it when 60 and above on the highway which is a lot of how I drive. Anyone?

I read somewhere on here that the 3gens had whistling and had something to do with the holes on the lower control arms catching air .

Need a little more info. Did it start when new? Anything added to truck yet? Where abouts is it coming from?

I don't know if OP's problem is the door seal kazoo, but I can tell you that my 3rd gen does it. Sometimes driver, sometimes passenger. A couple of times both!
Lol, I've never owned another vehicle that does this :notsure:

Someone else here came up with a fix . They ran a 1/4 of an inch tubing inside the weather stripping along the window. I did this to driver side and no longer get the annoying kazzo sound. Now have to do the passenger side because it's doing the same .

Brand new truck, has done it since day 1. Bone stock. It sounds like it is coming from the mirror area or somewhere on the A pillar. Dealer adjusted the door and that did nada. It whistles and drives me batty. Ha.

I had it on both sides. They have replacement seals that are supposed to fix it. It seems to work so far. They have been on for 5 months but I haven't been in any crazy head wind since it has been replaced.

Try driving with mirrors pulled in and see if that does anything. Just a thought.

Dealer changed my mirror and said if that doesn’t fix it then they would replace door seal. I think mine is the front control arms though, but they would not listen and still put on new mirror. Might work for you to try the new door seal.

I had the exact same issue on my 2018. Dealer couldn’t figure it out so I took some Painters tape and slowly started taping of section of my truck systematically then drove to see if sound was gone. Through the process of elimination I determined the sound the was coming from the drivers window seal about 6 inches back from A pillar. I took it back to dealer, showed them what I found and they replaced the window seal. Sound Gone. And still gone 3k miles later. It’s sad that dealers can’t do that kind of reasoning to find problems... they just don’t seem to care most of the time. Now if I can just figure out where my low pitched front end hum is at about 35MPH... and no, it’s not the LCA...

Thanks guys. The painter's tape trick is one I did with the mirror and still had whistle. Now on to the doors. Appreciate it and the how-to in post 12.

OP - I had the same problem. If you take the small inside corner panel off where the mirror bolts onto the door (its held on by clips and pops out - just make sure you take the clips out so they don't fall behind the door panel) you should have 3 plastic tape lenses that cover the 3 holes where the mirror bolts to the door. Mine were missing and I had the whistling noise at 65 mph on the passenger side. If yours are missing you can use duct tape to cover the 3 holes. Replaced mine and the noise is gone.

My 2017 does this, it usually "sounds" like the rear driver side door seal.

Did u fix yours? Mine sounds like the window isn't completely up. The dealer taped the snot out of my truck and couldn't pinpoint the noise.
