Has anyone had any experience with this message on a 2021 Tacoma Offroad? Truck was at dealer collision shop for three weeks and yellow triangle symbol came up on dash when I first started it. Thought maybe it was just cold. Later in my trip home I stopped at a store and the message popped up when I restarted the truck. Does seem to be sluggish on acceleration.no experience with this message before giving it over to collision shop. Thanks for any info.

Borracho Loco: So do you think its a sensor problem only? Vehicle had front end work done.

Check engine + under warranty = "not drivable."

I'd take it back today and request a rental.

did you call the collision center? It seems to me part of the job would be to recalibrate or replace the sensor in the grill. They might have to take it to the dealer, but they should have done that, not just passed it on to you. The dealer will most likely charge.

Yes I do. They either left it unplugged, it's damaged or it wasn't calibrated correctly during the repair. Most likely, they forgot to plug the damn thing back in. A simple mistake that can be easily over looked.

Then take it back to the collision shop and explain that to them. If it wasn't on before you took the vehicle in, but it's on now? It's on them to fix it.

The collision shop and the dealer are the same company just different locations. I have extended warranty so either way shouldnt cost anything. And the collision shop has not made me happy to say the least. Originally told 3-4 days for the job and it took them 21 days. Dont really want them touching anything of mine again.

I checked the connections to the grill and it was plugged in. Traced wires back and several other connectors also plugged in. Checked fuses and couldnt find any labeled DSC but one was labeled MCS. Pulled the fuse and it looked ok so I put it back in and made sure all fuses were seated tightly. The error message appeared again on engine start. I decided to replace the fuse with a new one just in case. Started the engine and the error message was gone. Hopefully that works out and I wont have to leave truck at the dealer to play with for who knows how long. Just goes to show even if fuse looks good it might not be. Thank you all for your help.
