Question... I have a sub box for 2 twelves that I want to run series/parallel. My box has a divider in between the 2 speakers. I thought about drilling a hole to get to the other side just big enough for the wire so it would be a better seal. My question is, would that be a good idea or should I attach the wire to the positive, then the terminal on the box on both sides and then join the positive wires on the outside of the box then run it to the amp? Or should I drill the small hole?

i would do it all in the box, with just the positive/negative coming out. otherwise there's too much risk of additional connections to fall apart later.

i would also suggest running 1 sub passive, drilling some large holes between the subs, and only powering 1 for an active/passive setup. slightly more unique, slightly better power and airspace needs, as 2-12's are going to be light on airspace.

Sorry to say, I'm a little new to this so you kind of lost me there. Is active and passive the same as series and parallel? How large of holes and how many would you drill? I'm doing this myself nd learned a lot, but yet there is still a lot to learn. Is there a diagram somewhere to show me what you explained? Thank you for the help!

Keeping’ it simple, drill the hole to pass the wire through and seal it with silicone or balled-up strip caulk.

the first thing i would suggest looking into is pulling up the manual for the subwoofer model you're using. that will generally give you the speaker parameters, and many will also give recommended box sizes.

from there, compare to the box you have.

you haven't given any specifications for any gear you're using, so i can't be anymore specific than that.
