Double can long bed as a work truck?

Anyone here a contractor that uses a double cab long bed as a work truck and off road truck?

Is there that much difference in off road capability going from short to long bed?

 

Departure angle sucks even on short wheel base 3Gs. Just saying

 

Define "off-roading".... I have zero issues cruising the first roads around me

 

They're pickup trucks. They'll never compete 1:1 against a 2 door wrangler for out of the box off-road capability. I drive a long bed, I can go anywhere I want to offroad that I'm willing to take a $45k truck.

 

Yes the best truck is one you don’t care what happens to as well

 

Exactly my point. I'm not putting my basically brand new pickup in a situation where it'll get damaged. A beater 1985 pickup, sure. Send it all day long

 

I remember reading a post that said the best off road truck was one with a salvage title
