Double Cab vs Crew Cab

Anyone knows what's the differences? I looked at nerf bar for my taco and it listed two options "crew cab" and "extended cab". I'm assuming Crew Cab is same as double cab? Thanks.

Yep. I think the tundra has regular cab, double cab, and a seperate crew cab but tacomas are just reg, extended/extra and double cab.

Speaking of which, has anyone ever seen a regular cab tundra?

 

yes they have like a 150ft long bed

 

i have and if done right they look pretty freakin legit, and its crewmax on the tundra iirc and accesscab on the taco for extended cab.

 

Crew cab should be the double cab and extended cab should be the access cab. They are different. Nerf bars mount to the cab and the cab lengths are different between the 2.

Pretty uncommon where I am.

I mostly see tundras at work sites, where seating for 4 would be vital..

 

You can get a single cab tundra with a standard box.
