Has anyone purchased Dormans rear axle assembly? Any opinion? Looking to replace my wheel bearing but I don't have the press to just do the bearing. I came across the entire axle assembly but can't find much review on them.

Haven't come across a review or seen one mentioned either. Most I suspect would (i) pull the axles and take them to a place to have the bearings installed, or (ii) install a used rear assembly from a wreck.

    Dorman probably sucks.

Used is probably overpriced and hard to find.

Why don't you buy a cheap press from HFT and DIY?
Or take them out and take to Toyota dealer ask how much for a tech to replace them with shafts already out, given they likely have the special tool

    the special tool is $130
can be sold later or rented out
I've seen presses as low as free on craigslist

    on second thought,
you may be able to find an entire rear axle for as low as $300 used.
Keep the third member as a core to regear later,
and pull the shafts to put new bearings in your spare time, so they can swap in.
Maybe spin (or have a shop or driveshaft shop do it) on a lathe or similar device to check straightness and inspect.
however I don't know if there's submodel differences...

Dorman is a decent low budget parts supplier. They can be hit or miss, but overall I've found their quality to be OK. Never tried their axles though.

I don't have any direct experience with a Dorman rear axle assembly, but I deliver wholesale parts for a large (39 dealerships) automotive group that includes 4 Toyota dealerships. My personal experience with Dorman parts - and talking to our customers every day - is that as a whole they are the Harbor Freight of auto parts. Does that answer your question?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Comes down to how hard you use the truck !

How fast do you need to do the job??

If you don`t know what your doing so many shops mess this job up.

There products can be hit or miss!

    Good luck!!
