Cannot find any video's on the 2nd Generation install on these. Do you just pull the old one's out and slide these in? No clips or anything.

68164-04020 and 68162-04050 in question. Thanks

Just replaced mine a month or so ago. Yes, there are a couple of clips that are on the window belt. I used a pair of pliers to grab the belt and pull up. Does require some force but they pop right off. New pops right back. Less than fifteen minutes and all four doors complete.

Will replacing this stop the window from chattering over bumps when rolled up all the way
    That sound is pure nauseating
Roll the window down just a bit and it stops chattering

The rear belts were straight forward but the fronts were a pain for me. I took off the inner door panel and the mirror, used pliers to pry the window belt off at the clips but after the first one it was easier.

It didn’t fix my creaking noise that comes from the window seals when I did it. I can only get it to stop when I open the doors and coat all the seals with 303 Aerospace Protectant but it only lasts for a few weeks.

Yes I’ve got the original glass still. The sound I’m referring to is the creaking squeaking noise from the window seals that a lot of people get.

i have a chatter sound (single cab 4wd with crank windows) that can be heard right behind the left ear in the top corner. at least i think that is where it is coming from
the glass ALSO seems loose in the channel... when fully rolled up you CAN move it up and down in the corner when placing a hand on there, but not sure if that is normal or not :notsure:

i shall have to keep that ear open to the noise you are referencing, not sure i have noticed it from that area (yet) LoL
    thanks!
