Hey guys! I am looking to upgrade my crappy stock speakers. I have an aftermarket head unit. I want to get the Subaru Kicker tweeters, and I am looking for 6X9 speakers to go with them. Any good suggestions? Thanks!

You will need all 4 door speaker adapters, and tweeter mount adapters

Do you have the Toyota JBL system or base system?
It won’t matter for what I’m going to recommend, but it will matter for the Subaru kicker upgrade. You have to do a bit of tweaking with the wiring if you have the JBL setup, if not, they’re plug and play.
These will be plug and play regardless, I have them and they sound great. You’ll need the speaker door adapters though. Video shows how to install in a 2nd gen Tacoma.

I did Rockford Fosgate tweets and 6x9s with crossovers in my regular cab. I'm running amplifiers too but they sound killer.

The “Subaru” tweeters are Kicker KS series tweeters with Toyota/Subaru plugs on them. Those same plugs can be received with any speaker set purchased from Crutchfield.
