The new Tacomas have extra door seals between the front and rear doors, i checked it out and found we can add that to help make it quiet, so here we ago.

seals are pretty inexpensive also easy to put on, all late models Toyota and Lexus models have these seals, they do help. Enjoy all!!

They come with 3M tape, peel and stick. Easy! Plus the new Tacoma doors are contoured the same so they fit nicely!!

Noticeably quieter on the highway. Glad I did this!

From McGeorge Parts, they're $14.97 each.

That said, @Jetfixr , I noticed from the Toyota blow-up diagram online, the 2nd part # (67895-04020) is for a new surround door seal for the entire front door. Did I make a mistake in looking that up, or are you also replacing this on your Tacoma? Our 2nd Gen Tacomas appear to already have this.

No, I’m guessing their diagram is wrong. The 67895-04020 is the right side, 67896 is the left. Both come labeled RR, but they only fit one way.

I installed these the other day, It seems the wind noise was a bit quieter on my way home from work. A bit hard to tell since my cab has already been sound deadened and I usually blast music to cut out the road noise/wind. Good find OP!

Just put them on yesterday. Easy to do. Does the 3rd gens have an extra gasket for the rear doors where it meets the bed?
