The car is low, I figured the chin spoiler and misaligned bumper were from bottoming out as it has scrapes around the lower area of the bumper from that.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    Moral of the story is....

    1. Get a Carfax before buying a used vehicle.

    2. Get an independant mechanic inspection before buying a used vehicle.

    3. Don't do business with Carmax. Lying, dishonest, bastards!!!

    That's about it.

A Carfax helps, but they still dont show everything. I almost bought a used car from a reputable dealer. The dealer provided a clean Carfax report. But after more research I found that the car had previous water damage that didn't show up on the Carfax report. I even showed the salesman the info about the water damage and they still did not pull the car off the lot.

So just so I make sure I'm reading correctly, Carmax also did an inspection after Toyota did and they did not actually find any frame damage?

    chunk missing in the headlight...???
front chin spoiler missing? Ok maybe cuz its low and bottoms out...
front bumper not aligned properly ???? missing clips???
dead TPMS sensor and "unusual"... (not usual) scrapes

All that sounds very suspicious to me.
But in the end they did tell you it had a clean carfax which is bull and they lied *** EDIT: they didn't lie. It wasn't reported on carfax at time u bought it so they didn't lie. You bought a car that had obvious accident damage and I think you're waiting your time and money

One can never have too many light bars.
Car Max buys alot of their inventory from enterprise. I used to work for enterprise and we would always put 87 octane in cars that required 91 (such as bmws, mercedes, range rovers and 350z's) and we would run them for 15k without oil changes all the time. Plus we drove them horribly just like those who rent them.

If I'm correct in reading that my next question would be why are you going after Carmax? Because the frame passed inspection, there was no flood damage, it passed their 125 point inspection, and when they ran the car fax to the best there were no previous accidents. You have already posted perfectly logical reasons for the bumper damage and scrapes and whatnot that does not involve the car being in an accident so I'm not sure what evidence there is that proves they actually knew it was in an accident.

Yeah, it sucks that now you have a car with an accident on its record and you feel taken by Carmax, but honestly I don't think theres any 100% proof they knew it was crashed and repaired and then knowingly sold it to you anyways.

If you do choose to continue with a legal battle I'd say you should probably delete your post that admits to having noticed the damage early on and written it off because the car was low. That right there shows that not only is there a logical explanation that doesn't involve a crash but it also shows that you were aware of it as well.

    Just my $0.02.

The really only unusual scrape is on the right rocker panel/side skirt... The front has several on the bottom of the bumper. We had a 2002 Chrysler 300M "Special" that bottomed out on our driveway to the point the bumper looked like it was falling off. I thought this was a similar situation and the missing clips were why it was misaligned.

The chunk in the headlight I thought was from a massive rock chip or something... The car seemingly looks fine, Until you start really looking closer. it had 24K miles, clean history and because of the "125+" point inspection I was assured by the sales lady everything was fine.

Idk about you but I'd look pretty close before I spent 30k on something.

The body shop showed me dust particles and paint imprefections on the inner edges of the hood and fender, the bumper is missing a vin tag, the vent block off plates, a few random things missing, the cracked bumper support, the taped together bumper support foam, Peeling paint on the bumper and so on... Those things I wasn't notified of nor noticed until the body shop guys pointed them out to me.
