I just purchased a 2000 Model xtra cab to dog hunt out of and would like to see some pics of hunting rigs if any of you have them. Thank you in advance.

I was just being a smartass.

I want to hunt feral hogs w/ my large-caliber revolvers. :quickdraw:

Seems like it might be fun to hunt something that hunts you back.

I'm a hog hunter, great reply and they do attack us when given opportunity and it sometimes requires a hospital stay. No guns in our game usually, just dogs and rope to tie or knife to seal the deal. Less dangerous that away.

    To the OP:

You might find some info on this in the guns & hunting sub-forum, if you haven't already looked there. This forum has just about everything you could think of in it somewhere.

Why ..what for ? confused what the fun would be in hunting for no purpose. and not really basing some kind of reasoning as to why lol seems pretty bluntly obvious it would be a pointless thing to do to me. Why not leave them alone and find something better to do like go play in the sand box..

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
Hogs in certain areas are very very problem attic. They over run areas and attack humans pets and tear up areas. Usually not native to the area too. Thus the need for killing them

This hog problem is not new in any way it has been a problem for a few hundred years. Is this as far as human intelligence goes is to just shoot everything. There surely could have been a better way to deal with this given the amount of time this has been a problem. It seems like this is not the answer or it would of worked by now lol

There isn't any way to specifically target them with snares, poison, etc. Dogs are the most effective way in managing their population in my area of the world. The biggest problems are disease ( responsible for ecoli outbreak a few years ago) that effects livestock, native wildlife and humans. They also out compete native wildlife for the natural food resources that are available, which leads to a decline in their population, not to mention all of the damage and dangers the pose. Also, I feed a lot of homeless and rehab shelters with the 100's of hogs I get every year. Feels a little more rewarding than playing in a sandbox.:)
