I swear by the Lilly brush. I have a husky/collie and a Pyrenees mix. That means an extraordinary amount of fur. I have a Lilly brush in each vehicle and one on each floor of the house and always take one when we travel with the dogs to clean up wherever we're staying.

Great for seats, mats, rugs, carpet, clothes.

Edit: sorry this reads like an ad. Ha.

Fabric softener in a spray bottle diluted with water 1:7 and one of those dog grooming brushes works wonders.

I use Lilly Brush products, totally affordable and effective. It also helps to have a "carpet brush" when vacuuming to get other stuff that gets worked in out. The guy at the detail supply shop suggested the mini detailer and it was $4.99

This tool for long hair: https://www.lillybrush.com/product/fluffy-pets-brush/

And this kit for short hair: https://www.lillybrush.com/product/pro-pet-hair-toolkit/

The fur eel works pretty well: http://californiasfinestdetailsupply.com/Fur-Eel-Pet-Hair-Attachment_p_541.html

I am going to 2nd the fabric softener route. Spray and wait 5 to 10 minutes then hit with the shop vac. This has been my go to solution through goldens, English bulldogs, the Frenchie, and mastiff.
