It's hard to even find non-ethanol nowadays. The closest to me is a couple of hours away at a marina.

$1.50 more per gallon, no way. On the boat and lawnmower, yes.

My truck is almost a year old, and I have been mostly putting in ethanol free 91 since I bought it. My research indicates its fine and will help mileage a bit, but not enough to offset the price difference.

Agree completely with snowmatt1... I have a 2018 TRD OR and ran NE 91 in mine for the first 4 years with the same results. Once gas prices shot up the cost diff was no longer worth it for me.

There aren't any stations local that have it. Depending on price difference, I probably would.

2016 Tacoma here and have been using non enthanol since about 500 miles. I have 38.8K now. The reason I use it is because the truck sometimes does not need fuel for weeks at a time over winters. I use it in everything , boats, mower, bikes and such with added marine stabil . Also it is easy to get here because of lots of lakes around us . I do not ever worry about phase sepperation from the ethanol and can rely on gas being good for 2 years and have never had a problem . It costs about 75 cents more per gallon and is worth it to me , but I get it that I am lucky to be where I am .

Non-ethanol gasoline in my state is only commonly found in areas that have a lot of boat, atv, and/or snowmobile activity. I’ve never used it in anything other than my boat.

If you have a Wawa in your area check there, that’s where I get my lawnmower gas from

Bingo!..... My truck is a almost a year old and does not even have 2 thousand miles on it. I work from home and my wife's work is very close. While I don't run the ethanol free gas in my truck, I can see the need if not driven a lot. I do have a Can Am Ryker that I always run it in. The etho free station is right by my wife's work too so it is convenient.

Been running non-ethanol fuel in all our stuff, mowers, saws, tractors, zero turn, dirt bikes, street bikes, snowmobiles, etc... Been running it in my Tacoma from day one, November of 2019. not much more than premium, way better fuel source, & mileage especially, during winter fuel blend months. no more fuel related issues, no more stabil, no more seafoam, no more jumping through phase separation hoops for mid to long term storage. charge the batteries, fire it up, it runs! VIOLA! :D

those saying they cant find non ethanol fuel, check out www.pure-gas.org

I ran 1 tank of non-ethanol just to see. I couldn't tell the slightest difference using the butt dyno. There was a tiny MPG improvement, enough to offset 1% of the extra cost. After the wallet heard that it complained loudly about wasting money and that was the last tank I bought.

I would if there were any stations near me that had it. Not driving an extra 30-40 miles to get it though.

Northern VT, most indepedant stations carry non-ethanol premium. Run it through all.the machines, haven't been able to come to terms with the added.cost for the tacoma. Probably should.

    Yes.
I'm at 40,000 miles and have used Shell 91 E0 all but a handful of times; then I used Shell 91 E10.

Yes, 91 only in truck, boat, and mower. Have 1500 gal fuel trailer. Fill at Indian casino or Sam's which ever one is less at time of refill.

I can tell the difference between a premium grade ethanol blend gas and 87 non ethanol.

My two cents might be biased but I do feel like the engine responds better where gear shift hang up that is so common with 3rd Gens

Yes, absolutely. I try not to put anything else in my mower, chainsaw, or generator.

Oh, you meant the truck... generally I try to stick with E10 or less (although that E15 / Unleaded 88 price is tempting sometimes).
