Does anyone regret their 1.5 lift?

I am about to pull the trigger on purchasing a 1.5 lift for my 2015 4x4. Planning to purchase the 1.6" Toytec/Eibach or Wheelers springs with Bilstein 5100 at zero for the front, and Bilstein 5100 with progressive 3 leaf add a leaf for the rear. I will be running 265/70/17 with stock sports wheels.

Does anyone have this lift and regret their purchase? I am struggling as I love the look of the 2-3" lifts but I know for my purposes the 1.5" setup would be more practical. This is a daily driver that is not used off-road. Thanks for any input.

I didn't. It was a great height, enough to be noticeable.

I just got used to it eventually, needed more strength in the rear end (new leaf packs), so I used it as an opportunity to upgrade.

I think you'll love it, and don't think you need anything more especially if you're staying with that tire size on a non-offroad truck.

Stock height trucks only suck if you're climbing rocks. Your truck is plenty capable of doing mild offroading, which is likely all you'd encounter.

Worst case scenario if you didnt like the 1.5 you can always swap the coils out and go up.

I went this route at first and then bumped it up to .85 - I like it much better.

Go with the lift you really want at the end. I kinda wish I went a little higher and I'm at 2.5" lol

If you're ripping out the suspension, might as well do it right the first time.

I did 5100s at 1.75 first. Loved the ride and the look. Over time the ride has begun to wear on me, a bit stiff for my long drives but still very nice on curvy backroads.

I'm now piecing together the full 3 inch lift. If you like the look of 2-3 inches, you will still like the look after you do the 1.5 and you will always have that itch for another inch or 1.5.

Long story short: yes, I regret only doing 1.5" the first time. Would have saved me time and money to bump it to .85" the first time and settle at 2.5"

I actually went down from 2.5" with 884's to the Eibachs at zero. I have the icon 3 leaf in the rear with the overload. Front is 1.7" and rear is 1.75" of lift. I love the ride and the stance way better than before.

If you are worried about regretting the 1.5" of lift instead of getting more. I would suggest looking into our kits!
Our suspension kits come with an adjustable coilover from 0"-3"(up to 3.5"). Super simple to install and to adjust, straight out of the box, youll get about 2" of lift and a lot of customers are happy with that lift height!

Bilstein 5100 with 884 Springs. Full audio system. Stealth 6 Wheels. Cali led light.
I have the 884's on with 5100's. Planning on doing the 3 leaf in the rear. No regrets. Just want to avoid the vibrations.

I don’t want to start another thread regarding 1.5 inch lift. So I’m about to lift my truck and was wondering with a 1.5 inch lift do I have to add spacer for my diff?

Oh man! I've been itching to do a 1.5" suspension lift on my 19 TRD Sport. Something that will still be a enjoyable and feasible daily driver but have more fun on the weekends! Want to beef up those rear leaf springs so I can tow a pop up.

Anyone have new recommendations on the perfect 1.5 suspension lift?

Your right its a minimal lift. From what I am reading on the forums its also a minimal effect of the CV joints, fuel economy, ride quality, ECGS, etc. Just enough to keep my 26570R17 tire size, beef up rear suspension for towing/hauling, and slightly raise the front to keep ~1" factory rake.

I had a local shop almost sell me on a 3.5 in lift kit. I do like the way it looks, but I would need new tires, likely a ECGS mod, and all the wear and tear of a "big" lift. I am not sure that I want that for my daily driver/weekend warrior truck that's fairly capable as is.
