I want to install a QI wireless bad in my 2014 2nd Gen and i wanted it to have the OEM QI button in a blank by my AUX/USB port if it fits. I cant even find one for sale or any measurements though. Anyone know where i can find one or a similar solution?

I posted this in 3rd gen because i figured some of you guys may have had to replace this before or something.

Did you try asking the dealer if they can get you one?

Check with @mesojdm I saw a pic he posted and it seemed like the switches he had were way to specific not to be custom.

Update on Wiring for QI Switch

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/repurpose-qi-charging-switch.496661/page-2

Seems that this is the purpose for the wire colors but I do not know which pins are which colors and what exactly these descriptions mean.

    White - Ground
Blue - Switched Power 12V ( Seems that this is only sending out power when button is pressed aka. N/O Switch.
Grey - ACC 12V ( Im assuming this means this is where your 12v from the battery is coming in )
Green - Dimmer ---- Any idea what this is referring to?

Dimmer refers to the night illumination. Meaning link it to one of the other "Dimmer" lines and when your headlights are on the switch will light up. As opposed to a set-up, like many generic toggles from the parts store, where the switch lights when switched on. in the case of the Qi switch, the Qi lights with headlights while the little amber (I may not remember the color correctly) lights when switched on.

I haven't started my project yet so I have no pictures but here's a connector I found these wire colors on and here's a forum on replacing my head unit it looks like you have an 05 though.

If this looks wrong let me know. im trying to gather as much info as possible before i crack into this.

I now have a button but I have some questions about it as I cannot find a harness for it.

If you are looking at the button and it is faced like it would be mounted in your dash, Coming from the top to bottom what is the color code for the pins? Im going to solder on some wires to the pins and heat shrink instead of using a harness.

is it Like this? What does the yellow wire do?

Blue - 12v When button is pressed, Open Contact when depressed
    Yellow -
Green - Dimmer, turns on when headlights are on
    Grey - 12v Feed
    White - Ground
