Does Advanced Tech Package include PVM on 2021 OR?

I'm looking at buying a new 2021 Tacoma with the following specs in Army Green:

TRD Off-Road 4x4 Double Cab V6 Engine 6-Speed Automatic Transmission 6-Ft. Bed

Options:
TRD Premium Off-Road Package (Double Cab A/T)
Advanced Technology Package

Accessories:
All-Weather Floor Liners and Door Sill Protectors
Bed Lighting Kit
Remote Tailgate Lock
Mudguards

Since this is a long truck and I'll likely be moving to a semi-urban area in the next year, I'm especially interested in the PVM (Panoramic View Monitor) for parking situations.

Is the PVM a part of the Advanced Technology Package? I haven't been able to find any authoritative sources that PVM is included as part of the MTM (Multi-terrain monitor) component of the Advanced Technology Package. There are some videos of 2020 ORs with PVM as part of MTM but no evidence of 2021s being the same.

Does anybody also have any idea of what lead times for ordering a truck are? The dealer I spoke to (I'm in Denver) is claiming a 6 week delivery timeline which I'm finding unbelievable (I'm expecting at least 6 months).

Hello I have 2021 Army Green with the Advanced-Technology Package. when I put it in reverse I have two images. One is the backup and the other shows a birds eye view from above.

If it has MTM then it also has PVM.

 

I have a 2021 with advance tech package and I have the PVM

 

If my experience is any indication, I think your expectation is more realistic. I put down a deposit in early June - my truck arrived at the CT dealership last month. Because of COVID's impact on outside shops (to apply paint protection film + Toyota's swap to H.P. LED fog lights), delivery to me will be today or Monday.

As I've repeated to my sales person, patience is essential.

 

I asked for an allocation mid October, and just got it this week. Expecting delivery end of Jan.

Yep, one of the primary differences between the technology package and the advanced technology package is the Multi Terrain monitor. So, you should be getting the 360 view if you've got Advance Tech equipped.

 

For the 2020's, the advanced tech was advertised as the sport was PVM only, the OR was MTM only (4-low only), and the PRO got both PVM and MTM standard. When the OR actually shipped it had both PVM and MTM just like the Pro. Doesn't look like they have clarified that much of any better for 2021's either.

Do your ORs with the Advanced Technology package also have Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) with a color-matched rear bumper? I have an advanced tech package on order and the build sheet is not clear to me. Thanks!
