Does a new driveshaft need to be balanced on vehicle?

Hey everyone, a while back I got one of the new driveshafts (I can’t remember the brand, I found it through TW) that has the Replaceable U-joints and Cardan joints.

The driveshaft was balanced from the factory, but I am wondering if it is necessary to balance the driveshaft while it’s on the truck?

I was thinking about how when you have a stock drive shaft, and you have to pull it off, you need to make the match marks to get it back to the right balanced position. (That’s what I’ve always assumed but maybe that not why you make the match marks?)
But when I got the new drive shaft, obviously, I could bolt it on it any orientation.

I’ve fixed other shaking issues that were at lower speeds with road force tire balance, but still highway speed around 75 she’s shaking pretty good, but it’s not in my steering wheel, it all feels like it’s coming from the floor of the truck. Also feels like I drift, left to right, in the lanes without my steering wheel moving.

maybe it’s just as simple as my suspension being old and worn out? I’ve almost put 100,000 miles on her and I got her at 270,000(give or take a couple thousand) previous owner put a leveling kit on but I don’t know what mileage that was done.

Looking to pick some brains on what else I can do to steady up the highway drive. Thanks in advance for any advice!

    No, it’s plug and play,
If your shocks are old that will cause vibration or wheels out of balance,

Old tires sometime can’t be balanced correctly too

Okay, that’s what I thought with the driveshaft.
Tires are fairly new, still have over 3/4 of the tread. And I just had them road force balanced, which got rid of the lower speed shaking.

I’m definitely leaning towards it being weak suspension.
If I give my truck a good shove from the side, it seems to wobble side to side for longer than I would think it should.

    thanks!

I actually had a set of bad rotors that did this to me,
    Don’t know how but did

Oh really? That’s interesting. I guess if there was an unbalanced rotor from manufacturing that would make sense.

could it be motor mounts or transfer case mounts? I had a bad wobble Ive nearly fixed after new forward driveshaft, struts, ujoints, carrier bearing and new tires/rotors. Im thinking the transfer case needs a new mount because my 4x4 shifter has a little vibration when my knee hits it while im driving.

i guess you would probably feel the vibration in the pedal is if were motor mounts?
