Looks like very little thread is in contact. Are the wheels suppose to be used with shank style lug nuts instead of acorn style. Or do you have spacers behind the wheels.

The lug nuts are practically empty. You feel safe driving on that?

    Get extended for sure.

Where the lug nut sits in the wheel, is there a curved steel insert for the lug but to sit, or is it more flat like a flat washer should be against it.
You need one of two things if there isn't a spacer behind those wheels. Correct lug nuts if they aren't the right ones (yes, they could have sent you the wrong ones), or extended lugs. Either way, what you currently have is no good. That little bit of thread contact could fairly easily lead to failure.

The acorn lug nuts like you have will have a corresponding curve on an insert in the wheel. If your wheels were made for acorns, you need extended lugs. If your wheels are flat where the lug nuts sit, they most likely need shank type nuts. See pics to know what I mean about shank type. The smaller hole lines up the wheel on the lug, the shank fits inside the larger hole with the washer being the hold point.

Just called the wheel and tire company and they think they sent me the wrong lugs so they are sending the right ones on Monday so we will see when they get here

Cool. Hopefully they get it right with the new ones.
