AccuTune has consistently recommended to go with 14" 600lb springs but that doesn't seem right for the weight of my truck. I have a hidden winch mount, 10k warn evo, sliders, skids, roof rack, roof top tent, decked system, awning, full size spare. Pretty much the works without bumpers. Everything I read on here tells me I should be looking at 650lb or 700lb springs (3rd gen OR looking for 2.5in lift).

If you're ordering from them they'll ask you for your list of armor and weight. I just ordered Fox 2.5s and Deaver packs from them and they chose 650 lb springs for my front and stage 2 for my leaf packs based on my weight which was as follows:

    Front:
Demello Steel Bumper w/ Single Hoop - 125 lbs
    Smitty 9.5 Winch - 80 lbs
BAMF 1/4" Steel Front, Trans, IFS skids - 200 lbs
BAMF LCA Skids - 23 lbs
    Total - 428 lbs

    Rear:
Pelfreybilt Sliders - 100 lbs (guess this could add to either front or rear weight?)
Mobtown Rear High Clearance Bumper w/ Swingout, Carrier - 180 lbs
Leer XR Cap w/ Rack - 200 lbs
    Full Spare & Hilift - ~80 lbs
    Total - 560 lbs

Total additional weight = 988 lbs

I have a similar setup and run 700lbs with no issue. Had a plate bumper which is why I went 700 but went to a hidden winch instead. I think 650 would be good but I’m happy with my 700s

I’d trust them on their recommendation...I asked them the same questions, which they basically responded by saying most people try to improve handling with springs instead of valving. Most everyone uses heavier springs because they have standard off the shelf valving, which accutune greatly approves upon to have better ride and control characteristics. I’m roughly the same weight and I’ve got a DCLB. I’ve got a full plate bumper, but no winch so our front end weight should be similar. They said If I added a winch, I would probably still be fine on the 14# 600s (stock fox is 13” 600#)...however if I did add a little more weight after that, the valving would still work just fine if I decided to go to a 14” 650#. I think from what I’ve read on the fox owners thread and what I’ve seen from accutune so far the 14/600 would suit you fine. I’ve got my rear fox dsc and deaver u402 stage 2 on and they’re fantastic. I was going to put the fronts on this weekend but texas is a freezer...

AccuTune has a reputation for knowing their shit.....

FWIW, I have 2.5s with 600lb springs and a stock front end, no armor whatsoever - with your setup I’d definitely get more opinions, but it sure would seem a heavier spring is warranted.

This x100. So many people are oversprung because the valving that comes stock in these shocks is so damn soft. If they're recommending 600 lbs, then I would listen to them. It sounds like you don't have that much front-end weight anyways.

You need to consider weight distribution. Unless everything you listed including RTT is on your hood

So valving helps with sag? o_O I have OME 887s and 5100s on there now and have noticeable rake since I put the winch/mount on the front.

No, spring length and tensile strength (lb/in). Valving would help with dampening the heavier loads, reducing the risk of bottoming to some degree. Some guys add weight to lower spring rates and find that the ride becomes under dampened and harder to control at speed.

Even though I'm sagging on 600lb springs right now?

What do you have the 13” stock fox springs?

Here is an off the wall thought.

Go to a CAT scale. Weight the front, weigh the rear, weigh the whole truck.

Should be a bit more accurate than guessing how much weight you've added.
