Do front grill guards/bull guards protect you in accident?

    Just wondering if the extra steel in the front will help protect you and your vehicle,if you get in an overlap accident...not sure if these things function like a battering ram...thanks

    Bull Bar = Damage Multiplier, not sure on grill guards. Go Aftermarket Front Bumper and call it a day.

    They will usually fold right into your truck increasing damage

    Agreed with statements above. Where they mount isn’t a stout area so it wouldn’t offer any additional protection.

    If you want more “protection” then a full steel plate bumper would be the way to go.
