here i show how i installed my brake controller on my 2019 TRD OFFROAD.

hope this helps anyone looking to get one.

I noticed that the P3 takes a long time to shut off after the car shuts off .. but i dont think its a big deal.
soon i will be hooking up an RV trailer to it and we will see how it does!. i'm waiting to hit 1000 miles on it first.

Drove with the controller at night last night and the colors of it really match the interior accent colors of the truck.

at first i found it bulky a bit, but it actually blends good.

Would recommend getting the ESP mounting bracket for that space and then you don't have to drill into the dash at all. Otherwise, nice tutorial!

It’s a tiny hole and not visible in case I undo the work.

ha yea its nice but i'm not certain it would be firm in its place. i dont think any attachment point for the controller itself, which poses an issue if you are trying to use the manual brake knob .. it seems that it's sliding in in place.

anyway, i'm already installed and drilled. My position adds more knee space too when you are getting it and out the car.
