Not sure how this is going to turn out. 2015 new to me purchased at a discount because of damage to tailgate. Going to attempt a repair, if it does not turn out I will order a new one color matched from Amazon.
Too cold to work outside I did make a couple tools in the shop that when I get time I will remove inside trim panel and try to bump out the crunch. One is 1/2" thick the other 1 inch. I did purchase a cheap set of bodywork hammers and dolly's. Please excuse the crappy welding its been a year or more since I welded anything. The damage looks worse than it is...
UPDATE Progress - Made some special tools and needed to bend them to fit the openings in the rear panel, also used some heavy duty 1" square tubing and large C clamps to put up the top rail and some more to do tomorrow.... picture shows reflections in the panel not really scratches. :) .

So I got it painted with primer until it goes in my shop

Update today removed tailgate to finish work in my heated shop. Who said it all comes out front the top?? Nope you need to crawl under and unplug and cap that white 4 or 5 pin connector!!

Ok two more pictures and its drying overnight in my heated shop and goes back in tomorrow, and it came out decent. Debating weither to use rubbing compound later on to make it glossy, as its lacquer. Happy New Year!!
