If I were to build a slide in camper to keep it in regulation for driving around with it ( I live in Colorado), what should I keep in mind?

Thinking of one like the one above, although a little different due to my truck being a 2020 TRD OR SB

As far as I know a slide in camper is considered like a load you carry. And is not part of the truck.
make sure you dont loose it or it doesnt wiggle around on the bed. and make sure that the tail lights are visible.

I would keep in mind the specific payload of your truck...
