I wanted to find an easy and cheap way to mount a tablet in my 2nd gen. I wanted something that was very strong and could withstand heavy offroad. They do make the tech deck mount which is awesome, but this is another solution that I wanted to share.

-I used a mount from Tackform which uses full metal balls, and a metal arm. This thing is rock solid. It has a ton of adjustability. I tried another mount and it had too much play.

    - I cut out a piece of aluminum to use as a backing to strengthen the dash as well
