    Howdy,
A group of us are planning a Moab trip this weekend and looking for good camp spots preferably along a trail. I've spent nights at sand flats, which is convenient and accessible, but we were hoping to get a bit deeper for one night. Our vehicles consist of: 1st gen Taco, 3rd gen 4Runner, 4th gen 4Runner (stock), Jeep Gladiator (stock). We're covering a wide spectrum of capability, so I'm looking for something we can get the stock rigs through without issue.
    Thanks

Onion Creek and there's others out that way towards Top of the World and that area, or you can go south towards La Sal Pass and get into some mountain and elevation there.

Camping is not allowed on most of Onion Creek, or along most popular trails.

It's not really a trail but there is access to some pretty remote dispersed camping out Mineral Pt off of 313 W. There are tons of amazing rock formations and some of the absolute quietest camping I've ever experienced.

wow there have been a lot more restrictions put in place.

i see the green is camping, but curious about the blueish state designators. is camping restricted there now too? i camped on willow spring road and there were tons of others too. i can't tell from the map is this is allowed or not anymore.

Thanks for all the replies! We got up there later than expected and ended up at the porcupine rim campsites off of sand flats rd. I plan on going back in the spring (or hopefully sooner) and checking some of these out. Let this thread serve as a Moab dispersed camping guide.

If you go up the backside to porcupine it’s a fun off road trail

We wanted to go down that way, but decided to head down through sand flats recreation area back into town for gas before hitting the road.

A photo from Hell's Revenge right after deciding I needed functional rear brakes for those descents.

There’s many out there. If you’re on 191, go east on la salle loop road, once you’re in the mountains, there’s endless to go around.
