I am getting ready to purchase my lift for my build. I have read a few threads and saw some TW discount codes. I am way over my original budget so if you have a shop, deal, or discount code to share and save me a buck I would appreciate you passing the knowledge.

Lots of forum discounts, and great companies to buy from. Might help if you listed out what you wanted to buy and your budget. Also a title that asks for recommendations on vendor might be more helpful.

    Check out the Vendors section.

I have decided on the OME 887 coils with the nitrocharger shocks. Also ARB Dakar standard duty leaf set in the rear. I plan on going with JBA UCA's as well. That is it for now. Add some new rubber to the mix as well. My budget for parts is right around $1600.

OME and JBAs are a good inexpensive choice, you could go with bilstein for an even more inexpensive option. Are you thinking SD or HD JBA? @voz just researched price on Dakars/bilstein, and he's a cheapass.

Are you talking the bilstein coilover kit or just the 5100's? I really need to save some money where i can as 5100's or spacers were my original intention. I am thinking just the SD JBA since I am not a serious offroader. I just like to hunt and fish where no one else can get to.

Hopefully @voz can provide some insight from his research.

Take a look at Low Range Offroad. Not sure if it applies to the full lift kit, but they did free shipping for my dakar leaf springs. Saved me like $150!

What was the best vendor you found for price when researching this set-up? Is it installed? How does it ride? Measurements? Sorry just trying to get this figured out.

Vendor recommendations? I have heard Marie @headstrongoffroad a few times. I reached out Friday, but they were closed until today. Still no response. I need to order ASAP to have parts ordered so that I can schedule a day to get them installed. I need a vendor that has free shipping and the knowledge to answer a couple technical questions.

    Thanks in advance

I used Amazon.. for billy's and dakars... I got front brake lines for headstrong. Rears are coming from another TW member, JBA's from JBA.

not installed yet as I am waiting for u bolt flip and super stops from Wheelers...

That is basically what i have decided to go with. Thanks to the forum and discussion with you as well. Now I am trying to go a vendor with knowledge and the best deals. For whatever reason there is little discussion of that here. I'm over budget and would like to save a penny anywhere possible. I am really looking for a vendor recommendation with TW discount.

I just wish Headstrong would get back to me before my patience is depleted! (To be fair their site stated that they were closed until today and it may be a few days until they catch up)

are the brake lines necessary for 3" or less? Just want to make sure before I make a final order list. Sounds like you actually shopped for the best deal for each component.

Was is cheaper to purchase everything separately? How bad was shipping? I would like to get everything from a vendor that has free shipping since I am spending more than intended already.

exactly why i reached out to them friday. Unfortunately with my luck they were closed and have not gotten to me yet. It just seems like she is the best for knowledge and individual questions. They also have free shipping to lower 48 which is a huge draw for me. I just wish they had a damn phone number for people ready to buy.

Am I reading this correctly? You aren't going to pay a shop to install this for you, right?

Jack stands, floor jack, metric socket set and some metric wrenches paired with a cooler of beer and a buddy will get this done in your driveway in around 4 hours.

I am planning on having it installed. I have zero knowledge of suspension and components. I just want to make sure it is right, and that if not someone else has the problem to figure out. It is my daily driver so if something goes not as planned i can't be without the truck for multiple days.

Update: Marie got back to me. So after a few more questions I think I am finally ready to make the jump into modding my truck.

University of Youtube my friend. It is not difficult to do at all and paying shop rates is just ridiculous.

Anyone near this guy that can help him install and save him a few hundred bucks?
